  I may be stepping down!

  so the co is in town...sorry i can't disclose much info....i haven't done anything wrong that warrants no longer serving as an ms....but the co is thinking of deleting me as an ms (my parents are aware)....i really hope he does as this will make my fade much more easier...... freedom is just around the corner i hope.... peace.

  The elders said they want to meet with me...so we'll see how it goes...the thing that bugs me is that when it's announced, everybody is going to think I did something wrong and I know I'm going to be treated as being "less spiritual"...I already know the rumors that maybe going around if it's announced...the negativity associated with someone being DA/DF or just giving up privileges...

  I didn't...just when we had the arrangements to have it discussed for FS...when people use to discuss how they benefited from the daily text I'd just nod to give the impression that I did.

  i'm going out in the morning, but i'm wondering who else here in undercover apostate land will be meeting up with their own respective groups for theocratic activity tomorrow.

  i did for a year.

  i falsified reports, had fake rv's, told groups i was meeting up with other groups and went home just to show a presense.

  i wasn't fading though, because of my situation i had to play like everything was fine.

  The FS "hours" that the WTBS brag about isn't accurate....considering some do falsify reports (faders or those stuck in) or those who do their "time" at Starbucks and carry out personal chores

  I remember two sisters had to taken to the CO himself after the two became aggresive towards each other over a darn seat...always fighting for the "end" seat...during the annoucements, it was said that an older sister was almost ran over when the doors opened at 8am.

  I guess they're just anxous to hear more "truths".

  im just wondering,how do you do it?

  how do you manage to convice them that your genuine?

  how do you manage to keep up that pretense without running screaming from the hall?.

  @londonlady: As someone who is still "in" physically, it's very difficult...you go through the notions, knowing that what you're hearing is not true. With regards to feild service, last month I didn't go, but still reported average hours (since I'm an MS)...thankfully, I've don't have any bible studies nor do I go on return visits.

  To let them think you're still genuine...so say typical stuff like "the end is so near", "you won't find any other organization like this" and everyone will think you're spiritual.

  When you have hardcore family members who are JW's..it can be hard

  so i had a good conversation wth my brother, who i thought was a devout jw.

  he eventually asked "are you going to the meetings?

  ", i said "no" then he said "why not, you know we're near the end".

  @biometrics: there are actually quite a few who are "in" just because of family...unfortunate, but true...so much guilt to live with if you abdondon the "truth" while your family is still in...besides, the negativity associated with leaving...they're going to think you did something wrong why you physically left...

  i just heard that donna summer passed away today, losing her battle with cancer.

  she was 63. .
